Hi, I am using jabref since years (currently version 2.10). Fetching entries from scholar worked just fine (I did never do extensive fetching), but it seems to me that google lowered the limit for showing the captcha. So, I got blocked.
My problem is, that I have a fixed ip (working at university). The blocking happened once before at the beginning of this year - but my system admin was able to assign my computer a new ip. But this is now not a workable option... I wonder: i. Do other researchers with fixed ip experience the same problem? (getting blocked for very moderate use - and the blocking is not removed after some days) ii. Is there a way to present the captcha in jabref? (I would not mind to enter it - I really use it only very moderately) iii. Or is there another solution...? Thank you for your efforts!
