There is a checkbox somewhere to enable the biblatex extra fields, once
you check it, it will ask you to restart Jabref...
From memory, I think it is:
Preferences > Advanced > BibLaTexmode or Enable Biblatex, or something
like that.
I actually reverted to the stock-standard version though, and I use
biblatex without any issues.
