This is the result of the setting "Mark entries imported into an existing
database" which can be toggled in Preferences -> General. When you import
new entries, they are marked with green to give you easy access to the new
entries. You can unmark them by selecting them and using right-click ->
"Unmark entry" or using the corresponding toolbar button.
