When my desktop crashed, it apparently did some damage to jabref. One
of my databases no longer displays its groups tree. That is, in Groups
for that database, all I see is "All Entries".
The relevant .bib file does have the "@comment{jabref-meta:
groupstree:" section at the end, and as best I can make out it is not
damaged.
I added a "test" group to troubleshoot. While it it did work properly
as a group, it also entirely deleted my old group tree defined in the
.bib file. So I had to copy it back.
I do not know by what mechanism the interface accesses the .bib file
and displays it in the interface, and so I have no idea how to
troubleshoot or repair.
