Xerces2 Java Parser 2.9.0

Hello,

I would like to know, if possible, the following:
        -Is Xerces2 Java Parser 2.9.0 compatible with x64 Windows?
        -Is any known security issue regarding this version? As I have seen 
there was an issue with JDK and JRE with version < 1.7. Is there any other 
issue?
