*Location: Denver, CO and Bloomfield, CT *
1. Ability to extract and manipulate data from various data sources
using *SAS (Mandatory) and R (Mandatory)*
a. Convert various data formats (CSV, MS Access) into SAS
Datasets
b. Join multiple datasets to prepare a final dataset
c. Write SAS programs, code business rules and identify the
data issues
d. Load data to tables (DB2 or SQL Server)
e. Build exceptions’ process and send error notification
f. Automate the ETL process
2. Present the information effectively to internal and external
constituents (MUST)
a. Build SAS reports
b. Document the ETL process step by step
c. Build Data Quality and exception reports
3. SQL Savvy – at least Intermediate level
4. Someone who can architect the solution and lead technical meetings
5. Understanding of other databases/ technologies – MS Access, SQL
Server, .net, OLAP cubes (beginner level is fine)
6. Healthcare experience preferred
