I'll take a crack at this one; I took a look at the source (albeit in 2.2.1),
and believe I understand the work to be done. I'll have some free time over the
holiday weekend, and hope to have something by Monday.
10/Dec/2018 - Just wanted to provide a brief update: I was involved in a car
accident a few weeks ago and ended up with a concussion, so my timetables have
slipped by a few weeks. I need to make sure I have everything back on track at
work first, then I'll get back on this, probably later this week or this
weekend.
