Description:
{{While working on OPENNLP-1423, [~rzo1] noted a deprecated a method in
AbstractDataIndexer in the related PR: }}
{{update(String[] ec, Set<String> predicateSet,}}
{{Map<String,Integer> counter, int cutoff)}}
The JavaDoc indicated "@deprecated will be removed after 1.8.1 release".
Aim:
* Remove this method and fulfill the statement made in the JavaDoc
* Rework existing code.
