Tibor Digana commented on SUREFIRE-1107:
----------------------------------------

Yes there is a configuration option to redirect stdout to a file.
`redirectTestOutputToFile` set to `true` and you will find
`target/surefire-reports/YourTest-output.txt`.
I want to avoid questions in JIRA unless they are bugs and rather kindly ask
you to put the questions on Maven mailing list for Users
http://maven.40175.n5.nabble.com/Maven-Users-f40176.html

> Hi.
> When I run mvn clean install on a project on the command line a lot of test
> related text is bloating my command window. I want it to shut up unless a
> test failed. If a test fails I want the information, but not if everything is
> OK.
> Is this possible today? Is there a configuration file somewhere? Or an option
> I can add to mvn clean install?
