Andrei Badea created SUREFIRE-1051: -------------------------------------- Summary: Surefire plugin creates files in /tmp and does not delete them on exit Key: SUREFIRE-1051 URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SUREFIRE-1051 Project: Maven Surefire Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: 2.16 Reporter: Andrei Badea
As of SUREFIRE-938 Surefire creates files such as /tmp/stdout452978518391772295deferred, but never seems to delete them on JVM exit. Surefire does not call File.deleteOnExit(), and neither does DeferredFileOutputStream. So our Jenkins machine just ran out of space on /tmp :-) If you don't want to wait until Commons IO fixes DeferredFileOutputStream, it has a handy getFile() method which you can call deleteOnExit() on (when it's not null that is). -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
