The schema/dtd's for EAR deployment descriptors define an id attribute for the
application element. Some container specific deployment descriptors (or
deployment descriptor extensions) reference the id as follows:
<application href="META-INF/application.xml#myappid"/>
The simple patch provides the <applicationId> as config for the
generate-application-xml mojo and adds the id to the generated application.xml.
