I didn't understand much of what you just wrote. I am only a user of Maven and
don't have the time (or skills) to dive into it or write any modules. Right now
I am not able to make releases of my software on Windows. Whatever the
underlying issue is (escapes, commands, frameworks etc) it still is a bug. Do
you really disagree with me on that?
Is there a workaround or do I have to use mac/linux when running the mvn
release:prepare command?
