It says:Your assembly descriptors MUST be in the directory 
/src/main/resources/assemblies to be available to the Assembly Plugin.

I did.

I run "mvn clean package assembly:single"

And now I have a assemblies.xml in my jar.

here my assemblies file (pretty much default):
