I have the same problem.
Failed to execute goal
org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-assembly-plugin:2.2.2:single (assembly) on
project viadeo-daemons: Failed to create assembly: Error creating assembly
archive prod: Problem creating TAR: entry closed at '129' before the '261'
bytes specified in the header were written -> [Help 1]
Even adding
<configuration>
<tarLongFileMode>gnu</tarLongFileMode>
</configuration>
into my pom.xml
