make PDF plugin run reports when used with Maven 3

Maven PDF plugin uses Maven 2 reports injection.
With reporting being decoupled from Maven core in Maven 3, reports are not
injected any more: reports are not run when PDF plugin is used with Maven 3.
Maven Site plugin has created a 3.x branch to execute reporting with Maven 3:
its logic should be reused in PDF plugin
