IMO linkcheck does not use <reporting> section from the profile. Compare
"target/site" with "target/linkcheck/tmpsite".
The fix for http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MLINKCHECK-1
(http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=982571) looks strange and
maybe it should be fixed/improved.
