Carlos Sanchez commented on MAVENUPLOAD-2676:
---------------------------------------------

so we have:

opensymphony.quartz* 1.6.3 no poms / 1.6.1 relocated to org.opensymphony.quartz
org.opensymphony.quartz* only 1.6.1
quartz.quartz* 1.5.2 not relocated

the first question is what groupId do you want to use?

the poms you provide are to relocate org.quartz-scheduler to
org.opensymphony.quartz which is not needed nor useful, as there's nothing in
org.quartz-scheduler yet.

I suggest either using org.opensymphony.quartz.quartz* or start from scratch in
org.quartz-scheduler.quartz*

Relocation poms should be added to the other groups from the last version
present there going forward a few versions

> Quartz (www.quartz-scheduler.org) currently has many groupIds in several
> repositories, and needs support to change that, being a widely used project.
> This ticket requests upload of the attached POMs, which still only point to
> the download files at java.net, to Maven Central.
> The project doesn't maintain a repository to be sync'ed and therefore needs
> to do it manually, at least for the time being.
> The project lead, James House (jhouse at revolition.net), supports this
> effort and is available for comments, as per
> https://quartz.dev.java.net/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=1873.
