Antrun chmod task fails using maven 3

I'm not sure if this is an issue in the antrun plugin or a problem with maven
3. I put it under maven 3 because the antrun plugin works fine using
maven-2.0.10 or 2.1.0.
The problem is that the plugin seems to crash when using the "perm" attribute
of the chmod task.
I attached the debug log and a sample project.
