bq. i went into the repository folder
What exactly is your "repository folder"?

Your log says:
{noformat}
[INFO] [install:install]
[INFO] Installing [...] to C:\Documents and
Settings\LocalService\.m2\repository\[...]
{noformat}
Your user name isn't "LocalService", is it? This is usually the name of an XP
integrated account. Why was your Maven build running on behalf of this account
and not your regular user account? This looks pretty strange.

> Install does not install the final war in repository

> I have been using the same pom.xml for 3 months without problems.
> But when i ran mvn install this morning, it started with downloading all
> libraries before the actual build.
> After all unit tests have been runned, it started packaging the webapp and
> said it was installing the war file to the repository.
> Everything looked good until i went into the repository folder to get the
> war.... It wasn't there
> Am attaching the last part of the build log
