Force line breaks are ignored in UNIX files in Windows deployment

I do have a apt file in UNIX format, every line is terminated with a LF only.
Some of my lines contain a \ on the end. I'd like to force a line break. The
outcome it not a forced line break but the verbatim output of the \ symbol.
So Site plugin does ignore the \ with UNIX file format on Windows.
