Fixes `RemoteCacheStrictDavTest`, which has failed in the Jenkins `linux-jdk17` cell (Temurin 17.0.12) on every master build since it was added; `linux-jdk21` and GitHub Actions pass. On that JDK the test's `com.sun.net.httpserver` server drops the kept-alive connection after the OPTIONS probe. The resolver HTTP transport sends MKCOL on the stale connection, gets `NoHttpResponseException` (logged only at debug), does not retry it, and the PUT then gets 409 from the strict server. Closing every connection makes each request open a fresh one; the test still asserts MKCOL was sent and no PUT was rejected.
