You both are aware about this page: https://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-reproducible-builds.html And the fact that for example plugins like maven-release-plugin _automatically_ handle the timestamp for you, setting it to "now" (of the moment release happens). Or just automate it, by your own liking.
