Status after merge, in `v5`: - Pull requests and `dependabot/` branches restore caches without saving their own. Master, the maintenance lines and other long-lived branches save as before. - Saving only on the default branch is opt-in (`cache-save-default-branch-only`), off by default. The existing Actions caches in the `apache/maven-*` repositories were cleared on 12 Oct: 1,769 entries, about 154 GB across 55 repositories. The largest was this repository at 13.4 GB in 163 entries, because its self-test matrix saved separate copies for every branch and pull request. As of 13 Oct the 14 repositories that have rebuilt hold 47.8 GB in 484 entries. maven-gh-actions-shared is at 2.9 GB, maven-resolver 2.9 GB (from 10.6), maven-mvnd 2.1 GB (from 9.7) and maven-dependency-plugin 3.1 GB (from 9.3).
