Fixed on master by 3d22929c ([MDEP-858], https://github.com/apache/maven-dependency-plugin/commit/3d22929cbebf0799dfc42076018505a3d75deb65): copy-dependencies with `useRepositoryLayout` installs through a default-layout local repository session, so the split prefix no longer appears.
