indexer-core parsed every POM into a full Maven `Model`, but its readers only use the name, description and packaging. A new `PomInfo` value type holds those three, read with JDK StAX, and `ArtifactContext.getPomInfo()` returns it; `MinimalArtifactInfoIndexCreator` and `ArtifactLocator` switch to it. `ArtifactContext.getPomModel()` is deprecated and still returns the `Model`, so maven-model stays a dependency until it goes. Once it does, indexer-core needs no Maven 4 port. `PomInfo` matches `MavenXpp3Reader` in non-strict mode: packaging defaults to `jar`, values are trimmed, and the undeclared XHTML 1.0 entities that POMs on Central use (`ø`, `’`, …) resolve the same way. DTDs and external entities are not processed. Part of apache/maven#13309. Verified: `PomInfoTest` compares both readers on the 84 POMs under `indexer-core/src/test` and on every entity in plexus-utils' `EntityReplacementMap`; `mvn verify` → indexer-core 251 tests, full reactor green. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
