Delivered: resolver-wide executor management landed as SmartExecutor/SmartExecutorUtils (PR #1541, 7b4bd230), now shared by BasicRepositoryConnector, DefaultMetadataResolver, DefaultRepositorySystem and BfDependencyCollector.
