@elharo @GethDeeo Opened https://github.com/apache/maven-surefire/pull/3379 for this issue. The fix keeps the change scoped to the XML report name path and preserves `reportNameSuffix` when the testcase classname falls back to the report source text. I added both focused unit coverage and a Surefire IT that verifies the generated XML includes the suffix in the test suite name and the testcase classname.
