**[Mike Perham](https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=mperham)** commented Oh yeah, there is still a bug here for me to fix but my point is that Maven SCM will recursively build the SCM URL for a multi-module build by appending if the top-level URL ends in "/". You will not be able to use that functionality if your URL ends in "/...".
