   When processing most of the goals in SCM Provider for Synergy, all the ccm 
commands seems to deal with :
   - checkout/update/checkin the current project
   - but also, manage the linked projects.
   
   In some cases, managing linked projects shall be avoided (performances, 
status, ...).
   
   Adding a Maven option to enable/disable actions on linked projects would be 
a good idea.
   This option can also affect others SCM providers to enable/disable 
performing action on (for instance) Git submodules or SVN subprojects ...
