I planned to use checkstyle suppression filters though an extension mimicking
the multimodule configuration but instead using classified extensions. During
the process I realized that model version 4.0.0 doesn't allow defining a
classifier (nor type) along with groupId, artifactId and version. Is there a
compelling reason for this or could these elements be allowed to some future
model version.
