Mark Hobson commented on MDEP-74:
---------------------------------
I'm unsure whether there's still a problem here? Test classes should be
analysed correctly - see the testJarWithTestDependency test in
DefaultProjectDependencyAnalyzerTest:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/shared/trunk/maven-dependency-analyzer/src/test/java/org/apache/maven/shared/dependency/analyzer/DefaultProjectDependencyAnalyzerTest.java
> dependencies in test scope are not handled properly by analyze

> Project: Maven 2.x Dependency Plugin
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: analyze
> Affects Versions: 2.0-alpha-3
> Environment: os x 10.4.9, java 1.5.0_07-87, maven 2.0.5
> Reporter: Gregory Kick

> dependency:analyze doesn't recognize test sources for dependencies with test
> scope because despite having numerous unit tests, it lists junit as an unused
> dependency.
