And I don't yet understand how switching from Maven changes behavior, where everything possible version is locked. Here are things I'm thinking of: - using project extensions as described at http://blog.soebes.de/blog/2015/03/17/apache-maven-3-dot-3-1-features/ - (Subject still describes that it is a maven-release-plugin, but we're sure it is not right?) - Create a small executable jar with a dependency on a specific version of wagen-ssh to confirm it is indeed wagon-ssh.
