My settings.xml contains : \<filePermissions>775\</filePermissions> \<directoryPermissions>775\</directoryPermissions> ls -lrt says : -rwxr-xr-x 1 olamy staff 365 Apr 10 17:48 maven-metadata.xml An other user can deploy without a manual intervention from the first deployer.
