Elliotte Rusty Harold commented on MCHANGES-380:
------------------------------------------------

Is there such a thing as a release with no changes? Wouldn't there at least be
a new version and timestamp? Could we instead simply generate an announcement
that says nothing or something like "No significant changes"? I'm trying to
understand the use case and situation here.

> REOPEN - Add option to skip announcement if there are no changes or
> changes.xml file is missing

> It will be good to have some option to skip announcement generation if there
> are no changes for artifact. Now if there are no changes build fails with
> error:
> No releases found in any of the configured issue management systems.
