Andreas Dangel commented on MPMD-405: ------------------------------------- [~michael-o] I would keep updating this page (and github releases) if you don't mind. I find it as a convenient source of information for users. Having the release notes only in some mailing list archive is just not as accessible as having them directly with the source code/documentation. However, I can't promise to update this page always in time - I'll do it when I notice that it doesn't show the latest release. Therefore I suggest to add a simple warning at the beginning of this page, that the official/latest release notes are on the mailing list. See the latest changes in [https://github.com/apache/maven-pmd-plugin/pull/166] which also contains the necessary m-site-p upgrade/Doxia information as "breaking changes". After merging this, I'd like to update just the releasenotes.html page on [https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-pmd-plugin/releasenotes.html] - is it enough to commit this to [https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/website/components/plugins/maven-pmd-plugin/] or should I also update the plugins-archives/maven-pmd-plugin-LATEST/ and plugins-archives/maven-pmd-plugin-3.25.0/ ? Otherwise they would diverge... > No release notes for 3.25.0 on > https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-pmd-plugin/releasenotes.html > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: MPMD-405 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MPMD-405 > Project: Maven PMD Plugin > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Gary D.
