Alternatively, if the build time is considered a problem, why not just excluding it completely? It is not part of the JAR file specification as far as I can see (I don't see it in the [list of attribute names](https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/23/docs/api/java.base/java/util/jar/Attributes.Name.html)). If we fix a value in a `pom.xml`, peoples will forget to update it.
