, it seems Vincent Siveton really expected to use images in menus
notice that at that time, top menus did not exist IIRC, only left menu: this
image feature is perhaps something that was overlooked when top menus were
implemented later (not so much used feature either...)
it's hard to know if any user really configured images in their menus
