I wouldn't use 16 at all, it is dead and according to nio-dev there were still bugs in the UDS implementation. this one is very light https://github.com/jnr/jnr-unixsocket and works fine (used by Jetty project https://github.com/eclipse/jetty.project/tree/jetty-10.0.x/jetty-unixsocket).
