Michael Osipov commented on MSITE-764:
--------------------------------------

I believe that this will be soon obsolete: MSITE-921 will provide a fixed
publish date and you can branch off a release to fix issues which don't require
a new release. [~rfscholte], WDYT?

> Quite often site documentation is published as part of the release. This
> means that changes to the documentation depend on a new release before being
> visible OR you must accept that the documentation refers to a snapshot
> version instead of the latest release version.
> With the update-goal it will be possible to immediately publish
> documentation changes without changes references to released project.
> The siteskinner-maven-plugin
> [http://www.mojohaus.org/siteskinner-maven-plugin/] (originally written by
> me) at MojoHaus contains a lot of code which can form the base for this goal.
