Continuum do not trigger project rebuild after CVS commit

I have a set of maven2 projects in continuum. the Scm is CVS. It works fine
when i trigger the rebuild on hand or build is triggered by a schedule.
However when something is commit to the CVS continuum do not trigger rebuild
automatically.
