Would the "have multiple versions of an artifact depending on where it should
be deployed" possibly be better solved by simply having a three module project,
one creating the common artifact, and one for each deployment scenario?
(test/prod)? (Without profiles)
If yes, I'd be willing to give it a go rewriting the page.
