Definitely is a duplicate of MCOMPILER-404.
However, setting 1.7 as the default value is complete nonsense. As an IDE guy,
I can tell you *no one* creates Java 1.7 projects anymore. And for people who
still use it, they already configured their m-c-p accordingly. So this 1.7
change helps literally nobody.
The _sensible default_ (as in the Maven way) should at the very least be 1.8.
(11 is still way too controversial).
