Prominence is of course subjective, but for your second point are you
suggesting changing that page to
mention the existing [<release>
|https://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-compiler-plugin/compile-mojo.html#release]
parameter, or have I misunderstood? The first time I read it, I thought you
were suggesting a change in behaviour.
