Lukas Theussl commented on MPARTIFACT-74: ----------------------------------------- AFAIK, xdoc-plugin-10 should be compatible with maven-1.0.2. However, I don't see how the xdoc plugin can make the jar:install goal fail. Can you attach a full copy of the error log, and your exact system setup (maven -i)? Also try to clear your cache, m1.0 had some cache problems when upgrading certain plugins. > artifact-install fails when maven-xdoc-plugin 1.10 is installed > --------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: MPARTIFACT-74 > URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MPARTIFACT-74 > Project: maven-artifact-plugin > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 1.5.2 > Environment: Linux, jdk 1.5, maven 1.0.2 > Reporter: Philippe Sevestre > Priority: Minor > > After upgrading maven-xdoc-plugin from 1.9 to 1.10, jar:install goals fail > with the following message: > /home/phil/.maven/cache/maven-artifact-plugin-1.5.2/plugin.jelly:62:9: > <artifact:artifact-install> Error getting the project as a string > Going back to maven-xdoc-plugin 1.9 solves this problem... > Not sure if this belongs to here or xdoc, but I think it worths reporting. > Running with debug messages enabled shows another nested exception > complaining about a unknown "artifactDirectory" tag somewhere. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
