I generated them with EMF. I have suggested that modello be switched out with EMF as well for many reasons, but I'm sure they could be generated with modello as well. See http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-1437 Does modello go the other way? With EMF we can generate the java model from the schema, and vice versa. This way it's easy to keep the two in sync. The code in the RPM factory will load the models based on the xsi:targetNamespace attribute using EMF. This is one of the feature needed by modello, for those interested in upgrading modello.
