this issue was just a placeholder to drive a dicsussion
but as any new feature provided by newer Java version, this question of "do we
need this?" and "when?" happens
I'm not a promoter of the latest and greatest of everything, just because it is
cool: no I don't think we need it at the moment, then I personally don't have
any pressure for 1.4.0
