Yes indeed. CALCITE-1574 (out of memory) was caused by this problem, and was
fixed by upgrading maven-jar-plugin from 3.0 to 3.0.2, and maven-source-plugin
to 3.0.1 (see MSOURCES-94).
There might be other maven plugins that use the bad version of plexus. Worth
checking.
