Chatting with Milos here about whether accessing the configuration object model would be best or just provide access to the configuration DOM. Milos doesn't want to bind to a specific version of the EAR plugin, for example, because he was a generic J2EE module in Netbeans. So he wants to stay loosing coupled to the versions of the j2ee related plugins.
