We need your test project in order to reproduce this issue.
I only guess that your plugin configuration is parallel=suites. If it's so I
have to say that parallel parameter accepts only methods or classes and this
issues is then supposed to be a new feature.
Remember that Maven project has a rule where Jira issues without having
attached reproducible project can be closed after 3 months.
