In regards to [~hboutemy] comment: the simple way of adding artifactId only
works for some versioning systems (I only know CVS and Subversion here, maybe
others as well, but IMO CVS is a dead horse). I would consider git and
subversion to be the dominant VCS nowadays and these two differ.
I like [~stephenc]'s approach to take a defined scm section as a hint, that
this is the root of a project and would not fiddle with any paths from thereon.
